PTA Mid-Autumn Festival – Friday, October 20

 The PTA are still looking for more teachers to help with activities listed below for the Mid-Autumn Festival this Friday.

– Front Entrance: 5:30-6:30 pm

In the past, the Rinker’s have held this post and all the kids entered our event with BIG smiles on their faces seeing their teachers dressed up. We would like 2 teachers who can dress up in a costume and greet the students when they arrive.  Who wants to fill this role this year?

– Food/Drink: 6:00-8:00 pm

– Games/Activities: 6:00-8:00 pm

University British Columbia Visit

UBC’s international admissions representative, Sven Clarke, will return to NIS on Monday, Oct 23rd at 12:50 in the MSUS/LGR.  Parents are welcome to come to the university visit to learn more about the programs offered and campus life of UBC

PTA Shop Special Hours – October 17  12:30-2:00

Once a month the PTA Shop will be open during lunch break for staff and faculty. And as usual, we’ll be open every Tuesday from 2:00-3:00. Come visit us and support our PTA.

Autumn Festival

Dear Amazing NIS Staff,

The PTA is hosting their annual event, Autumn Fest on Friday, October 20 from 6:00-8:00pm in NIS Courtyard. The PTA is a Parent Teacher Association are looking for  staff volunteers to help us provide an entertaining evening for the NIS community.

G9-12 inter house touch rugby

Next week we will hold the G9-12 inter house touch rugby.  Each team must have 3 girls and 3 boys on the field at all times.  If you are interested in playing please contact your house captains or leaders today.

HW Club Help

Calling all MS and US teachers who want to spend their Monday office hours in LSS helping support students in Homework Club. We have lots of students coming to HW club (Yay!) and so need more help. Just pop down on a Monday after school or let Kris, Rick or Sarah know (we will put on the jug for a cup of tea).
