#MYPDPStudentVoice

Hello MYP/DP’ers,

We need your ideas! Tomorrow during Extended Advisory you will be working with a member of our student COMPASS team to gather your thoughts about how to make Advisory awesome.

For this session, we are involving all 312 students in grades 6-12 and 0 teachers. All you need to do is arrive ready to be a courageous communicator with a reflective attitude and principled behavior. Your student facilitator will take it from there. Dr. Saavedra, Ms. Bezzerides, and Mr. Bratton will be available in the hallway for any student that can’t handle the responsibly that comes with having your voice heard. In other words, behave.

You will be combined with another advisory (see below), so please report directly to the assigned room tomorrow morning. Your Advisors will be there to quickly take attendance and read announcements before stepping out. The rest is up to you.

Thanks in advance!

MYP Student Led Conferences

Hello Students in Grades 6-10,

A reminder that tomorrow are our annual Student Led Conferences. You know, that one day a year when you actually get to show your parents what you do all day at school. Don’t worry, Thursday you can go back to the usual script of:  Mom & Dad: “How was your day at school, honey?” You: “Fine.” …. and, scene.

So, here’s the plan for tomorrow:

  1. Show up with a parent or two, a charged laptop, and a positive attitude.
  2. Sign-in with one of our smiling teachers in the Centre Foyer.
  3. Visit each of your classes with a parent/parents.
  4. Show off.
  5. Dry the tears of joy your parents have after realizing that you are amazing.
  6. Repeat until finished
  7. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Large Storage Server doesn’t get backed up

This is a reminder, the Large Storage Server is a temporary space. It’s a place to post large files like videos and pictures. The server isn’t backed up and in July of each year we delete everything on it.

The File Server in contrast is designed for storing documents and smaller files. The File server is also backed up and we don’t erase it. afp://fileserver.nanjing-school.com
