Sri Lanka & Memo Cards

Shemo will be volunteering part of her summer to help support local Sri Lankan kindergarten teachers. This video will give you a good context of who and where she will be this summer. She is collecting donations to help fund resources for the local kindergartens. Donate to help these teachers guide these students to have better livelihoods. MYP/DP Report Card Proofing Today in Advisory Today

Hello MYP/DP Students,

This morning you will spend until 8:30am in Advisory proofreading your own semester two report. If you happen to find any errors or anything missing, please e-mail the teacher directly and cc Dr. Saavedra (G.10-12) or Mr. Bratton (G.6-9) before you leave Advisory!

PS. NO GRADE GRUBBING. You get what you get…don’t throw a fit.

Ski equipment needed

Hi,

I am taking Ati and Ato skiing (their first time) this holiday.  I am after ski pants, gloves and ski jackets for all three of us.  It would be great if you have any old ones we could borrow and return in August.

Fleming’s last sale and goodbye

Attention students in G6-11: LOCKS

Good morning – welcome to the last week of school before the summer break!

This Friday morning, you will hand in your locks with your combinations to your Advisory teacher.

If you have lost your lock, please let your Advisory teacher know TODAY.  You will need to pay 15 RMB at the cashier window in the Centre by tomorrow (Tuesday) 3:00pm.

Grade 7 Math Trail

Please remind all Grade 7 students that immediately after advisory to bring a pen/pencil, calculator or phone with a calculator and meet in the grass area in front of the PAC.  If the student have brought a snack, water bottle and sun screen they should also bring this with them.

Grade 4 Genius Hour Sharing

Please join us on Tuesday from 1:30-2:30 in the Grade 4 classrooms so the students can share their learning process for “Genius Hour.” This year the students have devoted loads of time and energy to a diverse array of projects that they are truly passionate about. They’ve grown as mathematicians, scientists, makers, musicians, critical thinkers, doers, artists, communicators, etc, etc as the’ve had this opportunity to independently inquire. We hope you can make it.

Loaner Program Has Ended

With the end of the school year approaching the MacBook loaning program has come to it’s end. All students and teachers who have a loaner checked out in their name will be asked to return the loaner to Ms. Cassie at the Apple store. The Apple repair shop will still perform repairs but the option of checking out a loaner will not be a available.
