Optional Research Upskilling Opportunity

Did you know that NIS subscribes to a research database for teachers? It’s called EBSCO Host!

Today at 3:15 (September 2, Day 7) I’d like to show anyone interested in accessing education research – and avoiding annoying paywalls – how to use it. I can also show you my personal system for managing and organizing articles.

Great not only for teachers and TAs pursuing an M.Ed or doctorate, but also for anyone interested in enhancing their practice through research.

See you today after school in the PYP Design Pit. Bring your Macbook!

New Student Survey

To all new students this year to NIS. Please complete the survey sent to your email. We would like to know how your transition has been so far to NIS and how we can support you and future students. Thank you.

HWC-I bought the world’s worst thesaurus yesterday…

Not only is it terrible, but it’s also terrible.

Homework Club is on this week. If you need help with homework, projects, organization, learning how to paraphrase/use a thesaurus, or if you want a quiet place to get your work completed, come on down! Homework Club is in the LSS area (C142) every Monday and Wednesday from 3:15-4:15.

See you there!
