There are many nonfiction books that have been weeded out (withdrawn) from the library that may be of interest to teachers, TAs, and other personnel in the school. These books are all in English and written for older students and adults. Come on down to the library!
Access to Financial Times
Trying to access Financial Times but it says you need a login? Here are the steps to register:
- Go to www.ft.com/schoolsarefree.
- Type in Nanjing International School in the ‘Check if my school has FT.com access’ section.
- Select ‘get access’.
- Type in your school email and select ‘Submit’.
- Your school’s custom sign up link will then be sent to your school email. Click on the link and fill in the registration form while on the school WiFi and using your school email.

Clothing Donations
Hello! My name is Yaewon and I am in Grade 9. For my Design project, I need some red and black fabric. If you have old clothes that I could repurpose that are red and/or black, please bring them to school and drop off in the donation box in the foyer or to the Design Centre. Any type of fabric, any shade of red or black.
The donation box will be in the foyer until Friday.

DC12 app and meeting
Dear Grade 12 students,
(1) The Discover China trip provider (Keystone) requires participants to create a profile on their app, which substitutes the printed waiver forms. You’ll also be able to access packing list and detailed itinerary. To register, follow these steps before Friday April 19th.
Go to http://program.keystone-adventures.com and enter the trip ID (171) and your student code (Xu3bdU). Follow the steps and enter your information accurately.
(2) We will have a meeting on Monday at 3:15 in the LGR for all students in Grade 12 to let you know the latest (and likely final) itinerary and answer any questions you might have about the trip.

House Badminton – Grades 9-12 Friday 19th April
Badminton rules
Gr 9 – 12
Teams of 8: 4 boys and 4 girls (can only play in one type of match i.e singles or doubles not both)
Singles, doubles and mixed doubles per match. Winner is team who wins most games in the match. (First house to 1 game)
Each House nominates the following (House Captains to organise and provide a list)
1 Girls and 1 Boys singles player
2 Girls and 2 Boys doubles players
1 Girls and 1 Boys mixed doubles players
Each game up to 15 points, no need to win by 2 clear points
For overall results individual games won and lost are counted.
If a tie, total points difference over all the games will decide the results
Please can ALL Players be ready to start at 08:10
