Parents, Staff and Students!!! As mentioned in Friday’s assembly, during the month of April compete with other households for a chance at a grand prize. The winning household is the one that uses the least amount of power per person during the whole month of April. We’re hoping to raise awareness and instill energy saving habits. Only one entry per household, so talk to your parents, brothers, sisters, daughters, cousins, nieces nephews.
Sign-up here or using the QR code and we will send more information about the registration process.
Sign-up closes on March 30th
Primary teachers – Panda voting
If you weren’t able to vote yesterday, please try to do so by break today (Wednesday) when I will put the two winning books in the brackets on the wall across from the primary office. I’m attaching YouTube links to the four books in case you haven’t had a chance to share them with your class:
The next vote will be on Tuesday and will include the other six books.
Discover China Biking Practice
The following trips have a biking activity:
- Chongming
- Lin’an
- Wuxi
- Moganshan
If you can’t ride a bike comfortably for 15 – 25 km yet, please email Ms Anna. We will run a “learning to ride” workshop on campus to give you the chance to ride with confidence. We will practice after school for 30 minutes once or twice a week.
You could use this experience for your GCD – Personal Goal, Wellness or as a CAS Activity.

From Monday the 15th – Friday the 26th, please drop off your roll of wrapped toilet paper in the designated boxes in the Centre Foyer and in the Library Foyer. We are asking each student and teacher to donate just one roll or one pack of toilet paper.

Awesome! Student Council is organizing an Earth Day showcase on April 22, during block 5 and after school. Participating students will be able to set up during block 4 and lunch.
The event will be open to parents and the NIS community, as well as some visitors from international schools who will be on campus for the ACAMIS football tournament.
Students are encouraged to showcase their learning through various ways; presentation, interactive games, call for action, lecture, performance, or a film!

Toilet Paper Drive
NIS has been working with Ting Ting School for more than 8 years. The children at Ting Ting school have hearing impairments and some other disabilities. When we work with Ting Ting children, we organise games and other activities and this helps them develop social skills.
They rely on donations from the Community. We have decided to have a TOILET PAPER DRIVE because it’s light, easy to transport and everyone has it at home.
From Monday the 15th – Friday the 26th, please drop off your roll of wrapped toilet paper in the designated boxes in the Centre Foyer and in the Library Foyer. We are asking each student and teacher to donate just one roll or one pack of toilet paper.
Thank you.
