Student Council – Voice and Choice Committee
Over the course of the past semester, our committee has been working on the issue of lunch pricing and food quality. After conducting survey on school lunch with the MS/US student body, we shared the results of the survey (and all of your valuable feedback) with Chartwells.
We collected 97 responses in total. In general, people were satisfied with the quality, quantity, and the variety of food. We also discussed areas with negative feedback with Chartwells, particularly on high pricing of lunch.
Moving forward:
We welcome any further suggestions for improvement to school lunch. Please feel free to contact any member of Student Council or our supervisors Ms. Chen and Ms. Beck.
MS/US Talent Show

The Student Council will be hosting a Talent Show on April 23rd.
All students are welcomed to audition and gain the opportunity to show their special talents. The following are some information for the upcoming audition:
-The auditions will happen after school on Tuesday, March 23rd (after school 2:30~4:30 in the PAC))
-any songs/acts with inappropriate language or act will be reconsidered and possibly may not be accepted
-The performances should be around 3-4 minutes
-Participants must sign up for the audition in order to perform

MS/US Talent Show – Auditions
This year’s MS/US Talent Show will take place at an assembly at the end of April. If you want to showcase your talents, then you need to first audition to enter the show. The Student Council will be hosting Talent Show auditions after school on Tuesday, March 23rd. Both teachers and students are welcome to audition and show off their special talents. Do you love the adoration of fans? Revel in applause? Do giggles make you grin? Then you should be a “Mystery Reader!”
Mystery Readers will read a picture book (of your choice, or I can have a bunch to choose from) to a primary class during Book Week (March 22-26). You will give me 3-4 clues so the class can try to guess who is coming to read to them. They won’t know for sure until you walk in the door!
Please email me if you are interested in being a Mystery Reader. Let me know if you have a particular class or grade(s) you prefer, and also what days and times you would be available.
