One of the projects in Grade 10 Design is the repurposing of bicycles. The students have come up with some great ideas but what we are lacking is used bicycles to re-purpose. If you have an old bicycle taking up space at home we would love to give it a new life in some form. We are hoping to start work in the next week or so. If you are able to help please contact Mr Stevens, Mrs Clarke or any of the Design teachers. Thank you!
All student in G6-10 must complete at least one entry for Service as Action and one for Volunteering in order to be eligible for Academic Achievement Awards.
All the Service Groups and their locations are posted near Ms Holmes’ classroom and on the glass wall of the Sewing Room.

A friendly reminder that secondary eats second lunch at 1:00pm on Tuesdays. This allows Primary students to eat at the same time as normal and means you get the chance to have recess first once a week. Thanks!

A film crew will be on campus periodically throughout the month of October gather footage for several short NIS promotional videos that will showcase the wonderful teaching and learning happening across our school. We will plan to conduct a practice evacuation this Thursday, October 14th at 10:00am (weather permitting). Evacuation routes are in each classroom and line-up locations are posted on the running track. Those responsible for student roll call have been contacted. All others, please gather in the usual locations. In principle there are no substantive changes to our procedure. Please feel free to share this information with students.
