OWC Health Awareness Series – October

Dear overseas staff,

Here below is message from OWC for your information:

___________________________________________________________________________________

Breast Cancer Awareness Month has been celebrated every October since the nineties. It is called ‘Pink October’ as people around the world adopt the pink colour and display a pink ribbon to raise awareness about breast health and the importance of  screening for the early diagnosis of breast cancer, now the most commonly diagnosed cancer globally.

OWC has partnered with a few clinics in Shanghai and we have organized a few breast cancer screen packages for NIS employees.

OWC has also arranged a complimentary free breast ultrasound with Columbia China Clinic. NIS employees can make the appointment and get the breast ultrasound done free of charge.

Best wishes,

Clara

  • Collaboration – You worked with a partner and also listened to the referees.
  • Challenge and New Skills – This was your first time scorekeeping but you know how to do it now and can do it next time and explain to someone else how to do it.
  • Commitment and Perseverance – You did not find the experience interesting and you thought it was too long or volleyball is not an exciting game or you did get to score keep for a NIS game so you had to watch schools that you did not know etc.
