The Table Tennis season starts next week. It is open to students in Gr6 – Gr12. If you are interested in participating, please sign up on veracross and attend the first practice on Tuesday 15th Sep at 4.15pm in Green gym. Practices are Tuesdays at 4.15 – 5.30pm and Fridays 3.15 – 4.30pm. Spaces are limited due to number of tables available so selections will be made.

What is Homework Club? A quiet space where you can complete your out-of-class learning assignments, get organized, get your questions answered, and get prepared for a great semester!
Who is there? ANYONE from grades 6-12 can come. There is always 1 LSS teacher, 1 Maths/Science teacher, and one English/Humanities teacher available to answer any of your questions.
When is it? Today and every Monday from 3:15-4:15
Where is it? In the brand new, b-e-a-utiful Learning Support area around the corner from Mr. Messom’s classroom and the PAC.

Grade 12; the deadline for the final Extended Essay is in December. Will you meet it? To help you with this goal I will be running Extended Essay workshops in the Library every Thursday until December 7th. All Grade 12 students are welcome. This is an opportunity for you to work in a quiet place with help on hand to answer questions or to keep you focused. See you later..
Hello MYP/DP students. Today is the day!
Remember that we are ending school at 1:30pm today so that you can sit down with your parent(s) and advisor for a 15 minute session. Please remember the following:
-Normal “Tuesday Schedule” today through Block 4 and the start of lunch.
-At 1:15pm the bell will ring and MYP/DP students are dismissed.
-Buses leave at 1:30pm, but you might not be on them (especially if you have an early conference slot).
-If you are waiting for you parent(s), feel free to relax in the library.

This Tuesday we are ending school at 1:30pm so that you can sit down with your parent(s) and advisor for a 15 minute session. These have been organized between your advisor and parents. Here are some FAQ’s.
Q. What’s the point? A. For us to get to know you and your family a bit better.
Q. Should students attend? A. Yes, unless your parents would rather come alone.
Q. Do my parent and I meet with other teachers too? A. Not this time.
Q. What’s the deal with the schedule on Tuesday? A. Normal “Tuesday” schedule until 1:15pm
Q. What happens at 1:15pm? A. The bell rings at 1:15pm and buses leave at 1:30pm
Q. When’s my conference? A. Ask your advisor and/or your parents!
Q. Should I prepare? A. Yes. Your parents have an e-mail with a prep sheet.
Q. Does NIS love me? A. Yes.
