NIS Band Pianist Wanted

The NIS Band is currently seeking a pianist from grades 6 – 11. This person must be a risk-taker with lots of courage who is good at sight-reading.

Why?

Miss Keus, in the middle of rehearsal says, “Nope, this isn’t working… we’ve got a line missing… I’m quickly just going to re-write this… maybe give the trombone line to the piano… okay… here is your new sheet music.  Let’s start at measure 99, everyone!”

If you are brave enough to have a go, then please contact Miss Keus. You can audition live in the music suites or you can send in an audition file.

You don’t need accompaniment experience, but if you’d like to audition with a friend, it’d be preferred.

Note: Current NIS Band members who’d like to switch to piano are welcome to also apply.

Note: This counts towards GCD for grades 9 – 11.
