Dear All,
Welcome to SY2425! This year Scott and I will organize the break time teaching together. Scott will support organizing the Secondary BTT, and I will remain draft and finalize the whole school BTT ROTA.
Coming Up
August 9th(Today): Please look at the BTT ROTA locations and see which fits you best based on your schedule.
August 9th 13:30 (Today)
The shared link will be active at 13:30 after lunch. Staff will be able to sign up for ONE LUNCH BTT ONLY via the shared link based on their schedule. Or if you would like Zhang Bo or Scott to assign you one, just leave it and we will put your name down for you.
Monday, August 12th: The draft BTT Rota will be open to all staff to view, and if you would like to do individual swaps with others, please communicate your swap and inform Zhang Bo.
Tuesday, August 13th BTT Day 1 schedule starts.

The updated name plate is in your pigeon hole to replace the old one (which is to celebrate NIS 30 years’ anniversary) .
Please put this new one on your office / classroom door. You may keep the old one as a souvenir or return it to my pigeon hole.

Primary – Plan for Today
Today between 9.45 – 10.30 we have ‘Break and Yearbook Signing’
If wet weather: Students can move between homerooms, signing yearbooks. HR teachers/TAs – please ensure one of you is in the room, while the other is breaking. Non HR teachers – please help monitor safe movement through the corridors (and make time for a short cookie break).
If outside: Students may gather in the courtyard and quad to sign yearbooks (the soccer field and bamboo forest are not open for play). Teachers – grab a cookie and join us outside to support supervision.
10.30 All students and teachers head to the gym for the House Shield Presentation. Children will sit in house groups. EY can sit together at the front.

ACAMIS Chinese Conference: Student Led workshop session
Good Morning,
Our students: Liksing Li (G7), Bryce Fielke( G10), George Chan(G4), and Alejandra, Franco Tai( G4) will be leading the ACAMIS Chinese Conference student-led workshop session this weekend at NIS.
They have done a brilliant job in preparing the sessions, please ask them if you want to know their session themes and wish them good luck for their coming session.
We would also like to thank Olivia Zhang(G6), Liksing(G7), Angel Chen(G4) and Ethan Wang(G5) who will support the conference opening performance and MC this Saturday.

Primary – Lunch Cards
Can all Primary Homeroom teachers collect all returning students lunch cards after lunch today. Please put them in a plastic pouch or envelope, labelled with your current class and send to the Primary office this afternoon. Leaving students can keep their cards.
