La Trobe University has state of the art sporting facilities. La Trobe Sport is dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of all members of the community. Some of the activities offered are kayaking, rock climbing and health and fitness. Numerous sporting clubs are available to choose from.

NUsport affiliated sport and active recreation clubs play a vital role in enhancing the student
experience at the University of Newcastle. The clubs boast a diverse range of activities providing
members with opportunities to participate, compete, coach, lead and learn.
There is a heated 50m swimming pool.
Chloe can train once, twice or three+ sessions per week with no minimum requirement. Members
of this squad may be focussed on school carnivals, local meets, cross-training for other sports.

The entrance requirements are high with a score of 93 in the ATAR which is equivalent to a 36 in the IB.

The University has a Olympic 50 metre indoor pool is located on the Darlington Campus of Sydney University. There are Varsity and open swimming clubs. There are also other clubs for students such as touch football, rugby, kendo, hockey, volleyball, water polo, soccer etc. The University has several restaurants and cafes.

The University has a UQ Varsity Squad swim squad which is targeted towards university aged athletes. The coaching team aims to create a fun and social environment, while also challenging the team to reach their full athletic potential. Many UQ Varsity Squad members compete for UQ at either national events, Uni Nationals, club meets or inter-varsity competitions, swimmers can actively participate in this program with no expectations to
compete or attend a certain number of sessions a week.
there are several other sporting opportunities such as as tennis, basketball, netball, and squash.
It offers also several Group Fitness classes  every week.

There are lots of different sports, varsity sports, including water polo and water safety. The university is currently developing a Student Swim Squad program to cater for Water Safety Program Graduates right through to experienced Swimmers who are looking to stay fit and enjoy the community aspect of group squads can join.

Southern Cross University offers several sport activities and community clubs, there are team and sporting events such as ocean swims and several running events. Based at the SCU Fitness, this group does swim squad training and participates in community events such as the Byron

Bay Ocean Swim Classic and Australian University National Championships.

Several sport leisure clubs are on offer such as football, cheer club, dance, football, netball, hockey, tennis, running and volleyball. There are competitive university sports such as soccer, tennis, squash, basketball, netball, volleyball, water-polo, triathlon, surfing. There are a number of standalone national championship events throughout the year such as swimming, athletics, 3×3 basketball and snow sports. ACU participates in intervarsity events throughout the year. These events are great at encouraging friendly rivalry against those other universities closest to the campuses. There are also leadership opportunities through sport.
