Inter-house chess on Monday
Monday lunchtime sees the return of speed chess to NIS. Players should download a chess timer on their smartphones before the event and be ready to play at 1pm sharp.
Teams consist of two boys and two girls for both G6-8 & 9-12.
Spectators are welcome in D219, but noisy or disruptive ones will be asked to recite Slovenian poetry backwards, in a cupboard.
As Bobby himself would probably say, were he still with us – The very best of luck to all MYP/DP inter-house chess players.
Leonardo Augusto
That’s the name of our mascot for the Girls’ SCISAC team. He is a stuffed Lion with lots of hand-made cards around his neck. He’s missing. 🙁
Please help him find his way to Mr Mello’s room.
Thanks!
