ACAMIS Track & Field is on Friday and Saturday. We have 21 athletes travelling to Beijing today to compete. We wish them speed, endurance and strength as they represent NIS. You can keep up to date with results through the Team Manager App. Go to the App store and download this app:

 1st Ever Open Gym Night at NIS

Grade 9s and 10s come hang out next Friday, May 17, in the Green Gym, for the first ever Open Gym Night in NIS history!
BASKETBALL, BADMINTON, TABLE TENNIS, DODGEBALL
Have fun, play games and jam to your favorite music. Snacks and drinks will be provided by PTA. And best part…..it’s a FREE event! No ticket necessary.
GATHER your friends and go to the  MS Large Group Room to write your names the SIGN-UP SHEET.

reminder: MANAGEBAC DEADLINES

Please ensure your ManageBac entries are all up to date before your DEADLINE.

A completed entry has:

  • grade before the title of the experience
  • volunteering or Service as Action selected
  • description (who, what, where, when, why) with smart goal
  • reflections (facts, feelings, findings, future, smart goal and outcome) the number of reflections depends on length/frequency. Aim for 1-2 reflections a month.
  • evidence
  • ONE learning outcome (different one each time)

In addition, Gr10 and G11s must have:

-proposals

-a balance of strands

-a variety of learning outcomes

Here are the DEADLINES 9pm (Beijing time):

Grade 11 – May 17th

Grade 10 – May 22nd

Grade 9 – May 24th

Grade 8 – May 27th

Grade 6 – June 3rd

Grade 7 – June 6th

CISSA Softball

If you have been attending softball practice, but have not yet signed up on Veracross, sign up today. Any students who wish to be part of the CISSA traveling team must return their travel form to the Athletics Office this week. See you today for practice.

Staff Social Club Event

The staff Social Club Committee would like to invite you to come and celebrate the good weather with free Beer, Wine and Sodas from 3:30pm this afternoon in the BBQ area outside the cafeteria. DJ Bobby B will lay down some tracks and some snacks will be provided. Have a Fun Friday!!
