JEDI Survey

JEDI is for everyone, everywhere!

Dear students,

Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey mentioned in last week’s assembly. We appreciate your input and thoughts on what JEDI (Justice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) means at NIS. All voices matter.

I can disagree with your opinion, but I can’t disagree with your experience.

Tech Tip 1: How to Guides Location

Hi everyone and welcome to the first of the Tuesday Tech Tips that will be coming to you every Tuesday.  I will try and keep these really short and succinct and hopefully useful to a wide range of staff.

Tip 1:   Where to find the Tech How to Guides and Tech Tips

Today’s Tech Tip is where to go to find a range of existing Tech Guides and support documents for NIS Educational Technology.

So firstly there are Tech Guide documents located on the NIS Tech Hub, found at the URL https://nanjingschool.sharepoint.com/sites/NISTech   This might be a handy link to add to you favourites. Scroll to the bottom of this page and in there you will find a range of Tech Guides.  For example, two recent ones added in the last few days are a guide to ChatGPT and how to setup iPad printing.

And secondly, if you click on EdTech Tips found at the top of this page same page,  you will get a page of short Tech tips on a range of EdTtech tools and websites that you can read about and try.  Tools like Rewordify,  and Snapdrop have been recently posted here.  Again, this might be a handy link to add to you favourites.

That’s it for today’s Tech Tip.  See you again next Tuesday.
