On June 10th, join us for a(nother) memorable farewell on this unique pub ride experience! Our experienced “guides” will lead us on a tour of downtown Nanjing where we’ll have the chance to try a variety of different drinks and cuisines, from craft beers to specialty cocktails and everything in between. So come along and raise a glass or six as we bid farewell to our colleagues.

Stretch Your Learning Edges EARCOS PD with Jennifer Abrams

EARCOS is facilitating a three-session virtual book study with Jen Abrams focused on her latest book: Stretching Your Learning Edges: Growing Up at Work. Jen is an outstanding presenter; highly recommended!

Description

Collaboration is one of the most frequently used words in education and, in some ways, the least taught. Our ability to collaborate and our willingness to engage respectfully with one another matters for the health of the school and the collective well-being of all within it. How do we stretch ourselves at our learning edges to become our best adult selves at school? How do we communicate well with one another in service of our students? 

This high engagement 3 session experience will offer you opportunities to align this work with the work of your school. Time will be provided for setting goals, implementing new learnings and considering next steps for yourself and your team.

Make Friends for Charity (from Lucy and Yeeun in G10)

Hi, the Pfrang service group is organizing a fun event for charity. All the money will be donated to the Pfrang Association, which is an association to aid students in southern Jiangsu province with their education.

This event is a really good opportunity for you to make new friends. It is basically going to be a speed date, and some snacks will be provided.

The event is accessible to all students in grades 7, 8, 9, and 10.
