Looking for AI Innovators! (Teachers and Staff)

NIS has been given the opportunity to help beta test a new AI platform.  We are looking for a few people interested in participating in a beta test of this new platform.  If you are a teacher who likes to be on the cutting edge and would like to help us pilot a new AI Platform, please fill out this form.  Staff are also able to participate if you would like to be a part of the pilot.

SCISAC Volleyball Volunteers

If you are interested in scorekeeping for volleyball, please sign up on SchoolsBuddy. There are many shifts. Some require missing class time and some do not.

For the shifts that are during class time, please sign up for Thursday or Friday and the Activities Office will choose the time.

AI and Assessment Course with GOA

March 4-29

This cohort brings together a community of educators interested in exploring how to leverage the power of artificial intelligence in assessment design. Cohort members will experiment with integrating AI into different components of assessing for learning: learning criteria, authentic demonstrations of learning, formative assessment, and reflection and feedback.

“Speak Up” picture book for all to share

Here is a powerpoint of a picture book called “Speak Up,” which encourages readers to speak up when seeing or experiencing injustice, whether it is a name being mispronounced or oppression. Includes an author’s note about real people who found their voice and spoke up.
