Due to lack of interest, girls’ open gym will not happen until next school year. 😢
Grade 10 Funfair – One week to go!
Only one week to go before the G10 funfair opens for business.
Please support the learning of our Grade 10 students by taking part in this fun-filled event. Grade 10 have been working hard to create a morning of thrills and excitement for NIS students (G1-11).
Past G10 businesses have helped to raise nearly $3000 for Kiva.org and over the past five years G10 Humanities students have lent almost $10,000 to improve the lives of over 350 borrowers in 65 countries worldwide.
Mushroom safety
It might be interesting to see mushrooms grow in the NIS grass after the rain. For your safety, do not touch or eat wild mushrooms. If you do touch a mushroom, wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. If you for some reason put a wild mushroom at school, see the nurse right away.

Exams clarification
All students should attend their normal block 2 lesson for quiet study. This is not time to be in the library, lounge or anywhere else but your classroom.
You can only attend activities in block 1 if you have signed for this, if you do not have exam you should be in your classroom.

Pre-exam activities: IMPORTANT
Good morning, students in Grades 7-11,
You will see the activity/ies that you have signed up for in your Veracross Portal. Make sure that you make your way directly to the location of the activity after Advisory. The supervisor will take attendance. You may not make any changes without prior permission.
If you have not signed up for an activity, you must be in your Block 1 lesson for quiet study.
Block 2: you need to be in your scheduled Block 2 lesson for either quiet study or a normal lesson, as indicated on the exam schedule. There are no activities during Block 2.
Be balanced!
