CNY Spirit Day Dress-up

The Year of Monkey is just around the corner. This is a message to call attention to the upcoming CNY Day celebration on February 5. Please get your traditional Chinese jacket or dress ready. If you are new to China, you might want to check the shops in the neighborhood. Su Guo usually sells clothes for the new year. To have your ideal style or material, you can even have your jacket or dress tailor made. Ask a Chinese colleague for help.

ISTA High School and Middle School Theatre Festivals

Do you love Drama? Do you love being around other people who also love Drama? Would you like to go to Beijing and spend over 3 days just doing Drama? If yes – you should go on an ISTA Theatre Festival! Imagine that – more than 3 days doing Drama with other people who love doing Drama…

You are extremely fortunate as you have the opportunity to go on either a Middle School Festival (grades 6-8) or a High School Festival (grades 9-11) in Beijing in March. You do not need to be a drama student to go – you simply need to enjoy being dramatic!

There will be a meeting for the High School Festival Monday break in the Black Box. This is for everyone already signed up – as well as anyone else who is interested. There are still spaces available!

There will be a meeting for the Middle School Festival Tuesday break in the Black Box. This is for everyone already signed up – as well as anyone else who is interested. There are still spaces available!
