MS/US Assembly Seating Reminder

Hello Again MS/US Assembly-Goers,

Don’t forget to check out this cool new assembly seating map to figure out which row your Advisory will sit in for all Friday assemblies for the remainder of the school year. Each Advisory now has an assigned row for your convenience in which you MUST sit. Here you will sit in comfort, with your loving advisory-mates on either side of you and happily embedded within your House communities, as you enjoy the good times which are our MS/US assemblies.

Check the map and memorize your row so you’ll be ready for tomorrow!

See you there on-time and sans bags.

Matern-IT-y Leave

Just a reminder:

The IT department just wanted to let you know that Cindy is on maternity leave now. We’re all very excited to congratulate her on the birth of a healthy baby boy!

With her absence, we would like to remind you now, more than ever, that you submit tickets (even for “simple” questions) to our HelpDesk. There will be some (slight) changes to our frontline/drop-in support over the next few months as our team distributes Cindy‘s responsibilities. Please see below for this clarification of primary contact people:

  • Veracross – Joe
  • Seesaw – Tom
  • O365/Accounts – Xia
  • Printing/Network – York
  • In-class Tech (speakers, projector, etc.)/iPad support – Eric
  • Laptops, general Apple questions – Cassie and Wind
These are not our only areas of responsibility, but will be the primary support people when you have questions about the hardware/software you’re using. Where you would normally drop-in to ask Cindy, please check in with the respective person first, or address your ticket requests to them when you write to HelpDesk.
There will be a schedule for when each member of the team will be available for “drop-ins” to the Macquarium (posted as soon as it is finalised), otherwise we remind you to please, please, please use the ticketing system for inquiries and requests.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Joe and the IT Team

Maker Space Reservation

A reminder to please reserve the Maker-Space in the Primary School corridor using the same online booking system that we use for the orange and red laptop carts. Below is the message from Joe with info on how to do this. The procedure is the same for the Maker-Space. Thanks!

——————————————————————————————————–

Please remember to try booking the laptop trolley of your choice (orange or red) using the online system. It’s super convenient, fast, and even fun too! 😉  If you are feeling independent and want to try it on your own, we’ve made a couple of videos for you depending on if you are an iCal or Outlook user. Check them out here:

Otherwise, send us a message at help@nanjing-school.com with an appropriate time to stop by and show you how to get set up on your computer. Dean just did it and he’s all smiles! Diana did the other day and it made the sun shine! Literally.
Happy booking!
