Dear all,
Adam Dodge will be the MOD of Oct. 20, 2018.
Best wishes,
Clara Xi
Thank you for a great start to our full week, and your efforts preparing Q1 Progress Reports.
A reminder we will be meeting for the PS Programme in the Large Music Room at 2:45pm.
Agenda: 1. Tuning in to practice of inclusion via Instructional Coaches and ELL. 2. Skilling-up with Seesaw
Hello All,
Please find the attached pdf with some of the results of the recent INSET feedback survey. While this data is excellent food for thought (or should I say gum to chew?), another important layer is the number of positive responses to lead peer-to-peer PL in the future around differentiation and other Mission/Strategy-related topics. More to come on this.
Woot! Woot!

Apologies for the late notice of thanks! Thank you for your patience and understanding as we got the after school program running. Still a few things to tweak but it’s going well.
Cycle 1 ends on Oct 26th and Cycle 2 only begins on Nov 5th. If you would like to offer an activity in Cycle 2 but didn’t get a chance to inform me, you can email me and I’ll make it happen.
If you run an ASAs for the PS children AND you are away on Discover China, please inform the parents that you will be away and that the ASA will be cancelled.Â
If you are absent on a day you run an activity (for whatever reason, PD, sick etc), you have 2 choices: 1) ask a kind colleague to cover for you. 2) cancel the ASA/club by emailing the parents and cc’ing me.
Please be mindful of the finishing time. Let’s make sure the bus students get on the bus! On Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays, the bus leaves at 4.30 pm and on Tuesday it leaves at 4:00 pm.
Thanks for you support.

For my CAS project I am organising a Book Drive. We accepts books in any language.Â
When: October 15 – November 3
Where: Leave your books in a Box that says “book donation’ in Center Foyer
Do you have any books that you’ve finished reading and have no idea what to do with them? Don’t throw it away or keep it on a shelf to collect dust, donate it to the the Qingdaolu Community Center! They will use the books to educate the people on different cultures, so it doesn’t matter if the books are not in English. Not looking for magazines or graphic novels, those you can keep yourself. To donate, simply find the plain brown box sitting in the Center Foyer at the front of the school, and leave your donated books in the box.
Thank you, Mu-Yen, Grade 12.
