Would you like to have some quiet, knowledgeable visitors in your home for one night on Jan 22nd? This could be your chance to meet a potential Quiz Champion or Famous Author or simply a charming International school kid from Ningbo. In addition, it would help us out greatly.

7 Kids (4 boys and 3 girls) are looking for a place to stay on Thursday Jan 21st. If you could take a pair, a triple or 4 please contact Emily Johnson or me.

Bursting the Bubble – Jiangsu TV Super Brain – Change

Filming will now take place over 2 days: Sat Jan 23rd and Sunday 24th from 9.00am until approx. 7.00pm. Students will need to commit to both days so please check your schedule and also with your parents to make sure you are able to attend all both days. Signups have now been extended to Friday Jan 15th. Please email me if you are interested.

Jiangsu TV have offered G5-7 students the opportunity to be part of the “Super Brain” ( “最强大脑”) TV Programme. This program has a foreign team competing against a Chinese team in a range of memory activities. The link below shows a recent episode. In the episodes I have seen the foreign team is from Germany. Our students have been offered the chance to have minor roles (not roles in the two teams competing) in the generation of questions.   For Grade 6 and 7 students this activity will be considered to fulfil all the semester 2 C&S requirements.
