Grade 10 MAP Reading Test Today

Hello Grade 10 MAP Marvels,

Your Reading MAP test is happening today, starting Block Three with 10A and 10B in the LGR and 10C in D340 (Ms. May’s old room on the third floor).

Here’s how it works:

-Everyone stays in the LGR/D340 for Block Three to the end, regardless if you are finished or not (so take your time…)

-At the end of Block Three, those that have finished the test go to Block Four. Everyone else continues testing (so take your time…).

-At the end of Block Four, those that are still testing will go to lunch and finish the test at a later date (so take your time!).

Give this test your best!

Ps. Grade 7, you are up tomorrow, so get some good sleep tonight!

Needed GCD Readers!

Calling  all staff!!!! Teaching Faculty and Admin!!!

Learn about the Global Citizen Diploma by reading the students’ stories. Our grades 9s and 10s need you to read their stories (about 700 words). We are asking all members of staff to read 2-4 stories over the course of the year.

To start, students will write about the 3 core values: Community Engagement, Global Understanding and Intercultural Communication. Then in 2nd semester the grade 10s can choose a wider range of themes/competencies.

Please sign up on this Excel spreadsheet: GCD Readers. Type in your name, choose the time frame that works for you and click one of the drop down tabs to select a core value or competency.

On behalf of our amazing students, thank you!
