Swim Meet Helpers

5-7 PRO-ACTIVE helpers are needed for this week’s NIS 100s swim meet. You will either be marshalling or timing. You will need to email Ms Anna before you can sign up on Veracross. Thursday, Sept 27th from 3.10 – 5.30.

Possible learning outcomes:

1. Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth.

2. Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process.

4. Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences.

5. Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively.

7. Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions.

ManageBac entries

Please ask your advisory students to label their experiences with the grade that they completed the service. This allows for proper archiving. More importantly, this means that we can quickly spot the entries that we need to read. Thank you!

ManageBac Entries

Dear Students,

There are 373 of you and only 1 of me….it would really help me if you labelled your experiences with the grade that you completed the service. In this way, we can properly archive your experiences. More importantly, this means that we (your teachers) will only be reading entries for the current school year.

Thanks,

Anna

Morning Briefing

Dear All,

There will be briefing today at morning break in staff lounge.

Best wishes,

Laurie

School Bell

This week’s bell is a jazz variation of “Happy Birthday,” arranged by Jonny May. We are playing it for NIS’ 25th Birthday!

It’s  a really cool bell – if you’d like to learn how to play it yourself, go to Happy Birthday! – Jazzy Piano Arrangement on YouTube.

Dear parents,

Just a gentle reminder, that there is still a payment open for some of the activities you/your child has signed in.
