Assistant sports coaching positions available for 2020-21

It is the time of year that we put in place our sports coaching team for next school year. We have a few vacancies for assistant coaches. The assistant coach position fulfils your obligation to run an after school activity or club, it comes with a small stipend and requires you to help at practice sessions 2 times a week (for about 6 – 10 weeks) plus at least one overnight travel with the team. If you think you might be interested, please speak to me to find out more.

GCD Readers

Hello everyone from GCD Central!

Grade 9 have been working on their first ever GCD Reflection and will submit it (we hope) tomorrow afternoon. From that point onwards we will be into the new world of reading and feeding back on GCD reflections. Anna and I are planning a Teams Meeting on Thursday afternoon for all of our wonderful colleagues who agreed, back in the winter, to be a reader. The information about this meeting will follow by email.

If you did not express an interest in being a reader before now and would like to be, please get in touch. You have not missed the opportunity!

Thanks again to everyone who has agreed to participate, it is much appreciated.

Physical Distancing and Masks

Hello Students,

We know you are happy see each other again after being away for so long, but please DO NOT touch/hug/wrestle/walk arm-and-arm/generally-hang-all-over-one-another. This needs to stop, both for the obvious safety concerns and because this violates key directives from the local education bureau and CDC. Stay safe is everyone’s responsibility, this includes you.

Hands off, Masks on!
