Students – need new library books?

Dying for something new to read? Need a nonfiction book for class? Never fear, the library is here! You can request a book and we will deliver it to your advisory teacher. This applies only to grades currently allowed on campus. Email me with any questions!

You can also drop off books in a tub in front of the library.

Class of 2020 Mug

Dear teachers of the class of 2020,

If you are interested, the class of 2020 will be ordering mugs. These will have their names AND the names of the Grade 12 teachers and EE supervisors. We need to order a minimum of 50 of the same design to get them for the low, low price of 20 rmb each.

Sports Equipment Sign-out

Hey NIS students, have you seen this bin beside the grade 1/2 entrance?

It contains: American footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, and tennis balls.

You are welcome to sign-out the equipment during break, provided you have your student ID.  Just ask a teacher on duty.

What better way to enjoy the beautiful weather than being active outside!

Grade 12: Graduation Gear

Graduation is nigh! Come to the LGR today at 1:45pm for a fitting for gowns, caps and stoles.

And …. no access to classrooms during break and lunch. This is the most important.

 

 

Updated BTT schedule

Good morning, folks.

Here is the updated, final BTT schedule for the rest of the semester. Please make sure to check your allocations, as some have changed. Thanks for your flexibility.

This new schedule begins today.

The lunchtime hours are slightly different for MSUS.

  • Monday – Thursday: 12:50 – 1:30 (L1); 1:30 – 2:10 (L2)
  • Friday: 1:00 – 1:40 (L1); 1:40 – 2:20 (L2)

School also finishes in the MSUS at 3:20pm

Primary School lunch follows these hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 12:50 – 1:25 (L1); 1:25 – 1:55 (L2)
  • Friday: 1:00 – 1:30 (L1); 1:30 – 2:00 (L2)

For the rest of the semester, there is no ‘on call’. However, please contact me or another member of SET if you need help. My WeChat QR code is below.

Welcome back, Grade 10!

Welcome back, Grade 10 students!

After Advisory this morning, please head directly to the Large Music Room for a school re-orientation and safety briefing. Just bring your lovely selves.

Where can I be during lunchtime?

Middle and Upper School Students here is a quick reminder of the spaces open and closed to you at lunchtime.

Open: You can go outside or into the Cafeteria (Grades 8-10) or the Cafe (G11 and 12) or you can play games in the Gym.

Closed: You may not be in classrooms or in the upstairs corridors, the library or the PAC foyer

Please remember to place your bags in your lockers during lunchtime.
