Month: June 2020

End of year – library books due!

Please return your library books to the tub in front of the library. Unfortunately, except for DP students, there will be no summer checkout this summer. I’m sorry for the inconvenience!

Briefing Today

Monday Morning Briefing will happen in the PAC today during Break. See you then!

Thank You 2019-2020 NIS Ambassadors

The NIS Ambassadors play a key role in welcoming new students to the NIS community.  A transition can be a difficult process in a person’s life, especially during a time where developmentally you are so social. Having a support network of peers available helps ease with the arrivals and the farewells.  Thank you, NIS Ambassadors, for your support, you are an asset to the community.  Please stay tuned for the 2020-2021 NIS Ambassadors.

Science Fair – Grade 9 off timetable all day

Hi all,

On Tuesday 9th all of the Grade 9 students will be in the PAC all day for the Science Fair.

They will not attend their scheduled classes on this day. Enjoy the extra report writing time on me 😉

(If we finish packing up early before the end of block 5, then they may return to their Service groups for the final few minutes).

They will also be setting up in the PAC during block 5 on Monday 8th. Please let me know if this’ll be a problem.

-Martyn

Sign up for the Science Fair!

This year we have an amazing group of Scientific Superstars in Grade 9 who are dying to share their Science projects with you. If you would like to bring your class to the Science Fair in the PAC on Tuesday June 9th from the end of break until lunchtime, drop Ruth an email with the time you want to visit so that she can schedule you in. Social Distancing to keep us safe!
