Suggested Summer Reading lists by grade level

I’ve put together some summer reading lists by grade level…feel free to use and share. We have every title on the lists, and I’ve marked which ones are also available on Sora. These are not hard and fast rules…these lists are suggestions and can hopefully help someone find new titles! I will be creating lists for MS/US, also.

Euro 2021 Football Championships Sweepstake for Charity

Hi all,

As the delayed Euro 2020 football tournament begins in 2 weeks, it would be fitting to have a charitable sweepstake to enjoy following a team and also raise some funds for a charity.

100rmb to play (transfer me the 100rmb with a note saying Euro2021)

If all allocations are not sold, players can buy/draw an ‘extra’ team (its all for charity)

Draw to be made on Wednesday 9th June in the staffroom @15:30.

2000rmb will be donated to support Lili from RBC (400rmb to the winner)

Facility Notice – for Summer Holiday

Dear all, 

Because of renovation and maintenance works during this coming summer holiday, these areas below will be closed, and related facilities will be stopped running as well.  

Facilities Unavailable: 

  1. Main building: GYMs, EY area and 2F close. Main entrance of the building will be under construction. No Centralized AC system.  
  2. PAC building: Theatre and auditorium, 2F & 3F. No Centralized AC system. 
  3. The Centre: Centre Lobby, swimming pool close. Fitness room open after Jul 23rd (6:00am ~ 9:00pm). No hot water. 
  4. EY garden and Front lawn area will be closed due to construction. 

Access management: 

  1. School will be under closed management. only staff on duty and construction workers could access. Students, parents and others are not allowed to enter except approvals from management team.  
  2. Scheduled Visitors coming for business purposes must report in advance and register on the day of visit, and follow relevant visitor procedure and COVID Protection Measures such as health code/temperature check/Mask.
  3. Please refer to the below layout for access to the campus and arrangement of main construction areas. map of temporary accessway and construction area

Changes in the area of Front Office from 1 Aug 2021

Following the re-design of Centre lobby, there will be changes in the area of Front Office to support the community more effectively on a three-shift roster Monday to Saturday, starting from the new semester of SY2021-22.  Annie Wang will start her new role as Teaching Assistant from 1 Aug 2021.  Elaine Liu and one extra personnel will join Shanshan Chen in the Front Office team from 1 Aug 2021.
